Description

This is Marsh Models McLaren M1B from the first Can-Am race at St. Jovite in 1966.

Lots of fun these kits, certainly won't be the last.

I took a while building this kit, partially due to the instructions advising the body to be painted Rover Cinnabar Red - I finally got the courage to order this colour from Zero Paints and they go down very nicely. I gave the model a clear gloss coat from a Tamiya rattle can before and after the decals, rubbing each coat back lightly with 6000 - 12000 grit cloth. For the very nice gloss I used Novus #1 polish.
