A lot of water has flowed under the bridge since Peter and I started with Amazing 43. It was in 2001 and I remember that by that time, there were no sites devoted to the 1/43 scale and in general to resin or white metal scale models, at least not showing the high quality and interesting contents we’ve reached in a short time.

Peter, a very warm person, together with his lots of friends made it possible, so that we receive many articles and reviews at once. Of course, Peter and I have also written many, and soon, the site was full of notes, pictures…etc.

It was a hard job that took hundreds of hours, developing graphic design, translating texts, well, everything a web site demands.

We gave support to some small and medium manufacturers, showing for free their new releases and linking their web sites, even, some of them, like Southern Cross, who didn’t have their own site yet, received for free one, created by us for this purpose. Our advice and help inspired and cleared the way for many people.

Today, Peter has withdrawn from Amazing 43, I keep his friendship and good memories of all these years I’ll never forget.

Nevertheless, we can’t just waste all the effort we’ve put into it; so, we decided that from January 2006, we’ll have a booming Amazing 43, featuring a more up-to-date structure.

We hope to count on everybody’s help: on yours, by sending us reviews, articles, advices, and on advertisers’, supporting us to keep the site on line, sending samples to our collaborators.

Meanwhile, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the changes we’ll be making, asking you to have a little patience until we succeed in setting the new project in motion.
