Alfa 2900B as driven by Raymond Sommer and Clemente Biondetti in the 1938 Le Mans

The very beautiful Alfa 2900B as driven by Raymond Sommer and Clemente Biondetti in the 1938 Le Mans 24 hours race. the car set fastest lap of the race and had a 14 lap lead when Sommer suffered a puncture on the Hunaudieres straight. He nursed it back to the pits and after a tyre and driver change all seemed well for two laps. However the car ground to a halt in Arnage, it appears the torn tyre broke an oil line. The red of the model is much closer the original colour. The model is a BBR kit from our contributor Juan Madrazo Revilla > Here
